General:
If you are wanting a miniature copy of a particular knife or simply want a one of a kind design then shoot me a message and I'll see what I can do. View my gallery page to get a feel for the types of knives I make. I do not do any scrimshaw or engraving but if you would like something like that included I can look into it for you. Generally I do not duplicate any of my designs. If you like a knife I have already made I will require that some small change is made. I do this for you, the collector, to ensure you have a one of a kind miniature knife.

Size:
Currently my size limit is 2-1/4". Why you ask? One is my equipment, it's small, the other is interest. This is, after all, "micro-blades.com" for a reason. I love miniature knives, the smaller the better. I have built knives down to 5/8" with all the details of my larger knives.I do my best to maintain proportion and realism at a small scale.

Materials:
I have a large selection of materials available. I offer plain high carbon steel blades or damascus. I also have a host of different spacer and handle materials including: wood, ivory, micarta, mother of pearl, and antler. If you request a material I don't currently have I will either offer to substitute something similar or aquire the necessary material.

Completion time:
Making knives is my hobby, I still have a real job and a family so, I have to make knives on my free time. Generally I can have an order complete in a week. If things pick up at work or I get busy with family stuff it can take 2-3 weeks for completion. I will try and keep you updated on your order the best I can. Occasionally I may have several orders lined up that can push a new order out several weeks. I will still try and keep everyone updated as to my progress.

Payment and Shipping:
I am pretty open on payment options for custom orders. I accept PayPal and credit cards through PayPal, money order and personal checks. I will also accept multiple payments over a short period however, the knife will not ship until it is paid in full.

Priority Shipping for domestic orders is included in the price. International shipping will be 1st class mail. When the knife is shipped it gets a light coat of oil and placed in a small zip lock bag with silica gel packet (to absorb moisture). It is then placed in a small plastic box (when available) and then into a bubble wrap envelope. All of that is then placed in a small cardboard box (Flat rate USPS box for domestic) for shipping. Also included is a certificate of authenticity.

Filework Options:
Below are some examples of filework I have done. Filework really enhances the appearance of a knife and also increases the value.
